A new procedure for organizing labor migration has been established

Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 313 of May 13, 2025, "On Additional Measures to Improve Labor Migration Processes," has been adopted.

Expenses for the deportation of citizens who have left for labor migration in an organized manner will be subsequently recovered from these citizens, if the expenses are covered by the Migration Fund.

Also, the amounts of previously provided subsidies and compensations will be recovered from those deported.

In addition, they will not be provided with organized referral services for labor migration to developed countries for up to one year.

From now on, contracts for organized referral of citizens to labor migration will include penalties, as well as the requirement for third-party guarantees.

At the same time, private employment agencies will be obligated to train citizens sent for migration in the legislation of that country and the rules of stay in it.

The document was published in the National Database of Legislation and entered into force on 01.09.2025. Source: norma.uz
