According to the presidential decree, starting from June 1, those who have booked a hotel through a single national tourist platform will be allowed to enter the hotel without presenting identity documents, but instead passing identification in the MylD system.

A presidential decree "On measures to increase the role and importance of tourism in the economy by sharply increasing the flow of tourists and rapidly expanding the range of tourist services in 2025-2026" has been adopted.

From June 1, 2025, all state electronic systems and platforms in the field of tourism will be developed within the framework of the Unified National Tourism Platform. Including:

• Citizens of Uzbekistan who book accommodation through the platform are allowed to undergo identification in the MylD system without an identity document;

• in the personal account of accommodation facilities connected to the platform, the possibility of identifying guests through a QR code or a facial recognition system is created.

The Decree approved:

• a plan for the creation in 2025 of modern recreation areas in districts and cities with high tourist potential, consisting of apart-hotels, capsule houses and other similar accommodation facilities;

• Target indicators for the development of tourism in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent in 2025;

• Plan-schedule for attracting foreign tourists to Uzbekistan in 2025 by diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in foreign countries;

• "Roadmap" for further increasing the flow of foreign and domestic tourists, improving tourism infrastructure and expanding promotional work;

• List of presentations (roadshow) with the participation of representatives of the tourism business in order to increase the flow of tourists from target markets in 2025. Source: kun.uz
