On January 22, 2024, the first event titled "Uzbek Law Day" took place at The Ritz Carlton DIFC, marking an important occasion in the legal and business circles of Uzbekistan and the UAE. Organized by PraeLegal Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the UAE, the event served as a special platform to discuss the future opportunities, prospects, and challenges in Uzbekistan's investment landscape.

The main goal of "Uzbek Law Day" was to foster a comprehensive dialogue about the evolving legal and business environment in Uzbekistan. The event brought together leading experts from both Uzbekistan and the UAE, aiming to facilitate knowledge and experience exchange, as well as promote the development of new business connections and partnerships. This initiative emphasizes the effort to raise awareness about the legal framework, business opportunities, and investment climate in Uzbekistan, highlighting the country’s drive to become an attractive destination for foreign investments.

At the event, presentations and panel discussions were held by leading representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, and other relevant government bodies of Uzbekistan, as well as prominent practitioners from one of Uzbekistan's leading law firms, the Tashkent International Arbitration Center (TIAC), and the DIFC courts. The sessions focused on the latest legislative developments related to investments, legal security, and arbitration processes, providing participants with crucial information necessary to navigate the regulatory environment in Uzbekistan.
